Apple Music has created quite the buzz since it was announced last month, and now it’s finally here. The streaming service is now available with the iOS 8.4 update as well as a desktop update. iPhone users can update their software now by going into Settings > General > Software Update.
The streaming service is now offering a free three-month trial, if downloaded immediately. New users will also be able to listen to the service’s Beats 1 live radio station feature.
The system update takes roughly 15 minutes. Users can find Apple Music Connect in the Music app. Although the service is still a work in progress, as many artists are still building their pages, its look is new and exciting. Two plans are offered for the service, individual for $9.99/month and family for $14.99/month for up to six people.
Users are presented with personalized playlists once they choose their favorite genres and artists. These curated playlists not only feature a shuffle option, but also have tracklists, which many competitors lack. Full-length albums are also available for streaming on Apple Music. Like all of Apple’s products, the app is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
