Well, it is hard to believe but 2016 is already drawing near a close! Our Accounting team is hard at work on preparing the latest quarterly figures and will soon also reach out to US and International based Record Labels and Artists to ensure that all details we have on file are correct.
If you are a client, this is just a friendly reminder to ensure that you have your latest Account Details correct with us for year end tax purposes, and, so that we can get ahold of you to let you know of new and exciting features!
We also wanted to take the time to discuss other areas that we feel you should check out that will make your experience working with us even more positive to close out the 2016 calendar year.
Update your Account Details
Log onto the SymphonicMS.com then, under “Account”, click “Your Details” to verify and update your info
This is good for you to do because we mail out 1099 forms if you are in the USA and often times, communicate important deadlines, service updates, and even fun stuff! If your email or address isn’t updated, we can’t send this information out to you thus why taking the time to update it will greatly reduce miscommunication.
On the same section, update your address, email, payment details, and of course, “Tax Details”
In life, there are two things that are certain, Death & Taxes. Within this section, updating your tax details ensures that we report the proper information to you and the Internal Revenue Service. Our Accounting team will additionally be reaching out to every USA and International Label & Artist for further info.
Check Spam folder for emails
Sometimes, Google may incorrectly flag our emails as junk or spam thus, check those folders frequently on Gmail or any other email service. If you must, add @symdistro.com and @symphonicdistribution.com as allowable recipients to send to you.
Check out our “Help Center”
We update and add new topics every single day to our “Help Center” located at www.symphonicsupport.com. There is a whole section on the “Content Cut Off” and much much more that can really help to not only educate you on Symphonic, but overall and general Music Industry topics.
Check the “Messages” section
Often times, we will send out important message updates. Under “Account” click “Messages” to see private messages we may had sent to your account within a year. We’ve just communicated Content Cut Offs for the end of 2016 and further, will spread this post out in that section as well.
