Every year, iTunes / Apple, Beatport, and many other partners take a holiday and stop ingesting content after a period of time. This is not only as a way for employees of these partners to celebrate their holidays but for business operations to conclude.
Please take note of these important content cut offs for the end of the year 2017. We will continue to update this article with additional updates. This article will be emailed to all clients, posted on our SymphonicMS system, and more. It is best to plan as early as possible to avoid issues and delays. General information about what the content freeze is can be found here.
It is possible that our 48 hour approval time may be delayed due to higher amounts of received content. It is highly recommended that the 2 week minimum on submitting a release be extended to accommodate your requested release date during this time of year.
CUT OFF DATE: December 8, 2017 at 12pm EST
- Holiday content freeze: Monday, Dec. 11 – Tuesday, Jan. 2 (content with a release date or pre-order start date between December 11-January 3 must be delivered by Friday, Dec. 8 as the dates below will also state).
Apple Music / iTunes
