We’re very excited to announce that we’re in the final stages of being able to announce and launch our SoundCloud Monetization service. Now, clients of Symphonic Distribution will be able to capitalize and make revenue off of the many plays their songs may be receiving.
We’ve launched a new section within the SymphonicMS aimed at ensuring that you send us your profiles to be whitelisted as soon as possible. By doing this, your artists and affiliated labels will not be flagged with those often-pesky copyright infringement notifications, and it is the first step toward the monetization of content.
We’re further working on enabling a more enhanced direct-to-profile delivery that will automatically monetize particular works, and as soon as that is live, we will announce it so you can see the efficiency in participating in the program.
SoundCloud’s “Pro” monetization program has been live within the USA for several months and has proven to do pretty well. We believe many of our clients will be able to benefit from the deal being negotiated by our partner MERLIN as well as with this new revenue stream. Stay tuned for more information.
You may be asking, why is it taking you so long?
Rather than just looking desperate and signing any deal that comes our way, we’re actively working with our partner MERLIN and Soundcloud to get a deal that will better suit independents. There are some companies out there already approaching many artists and record labels but the reality is, they have signed whatever deal has been presented to them without much room for negotiation and we stand by our negotiating partners because they stand with the independents to get a deal (just like our YouTube Monetization deal) that is comparable to what major record labels receive.
In the meantime, whitelist your profiles within the SymphonicMS. As soon as we have word and a finalized deal in place, we will advise.
Great work!
Right on! Solid. Sho-nuff!
