Eddie Amador has brought his talents to the Moody family. Responsible for the ‘98 hit “House Music,” Amador has continued to gain international acclaim. His remix of Five Knives’ “The Rising” was nominated for a 2015 Grammy and his new original, “Spirit And The Mind,” has just as much of an iconic flair.
In his new EP, Amador joins the underground with classic big room sound, a trait we know and love from the producer. The “Spirit And The Mind” EP comes loaded with remixes by Rescue and Shytone. Rescue’s “Feel It Mix” takes the vocals from rugged to sultry and intertwines them in a bouncy bassline, making it ultra catchy. Shytone’s remix has a steamy tech vibe that is undeniably addicting; I am sure it will not be the last time I hear it.
Rescue and Shytone are both a part of the Moody Recordings family and combined forces to bring the EP, dropping October 26, full circle. I have a significant amount of anticipation for future Eddie Amador releases on the label.
