Last week, you may have noticed something different about the Beatport site. In an effort to remain at the forefront of dance music streaming and purchasing, Beatport has again switched how to navigate their homepage and the Beatport Store is now front and center.
Since the majority of Beatport users come seeking the store, the Beatport Store is now the default homepage when you visit www.beatport.com, making it easier for users to get there faster. In addition, users can now navigate easily between Store, Listen, Video and News. The streaming service will now be accessible through the ‘Listen’ menu tab at the top of the Store page.
Beatport also added a sub-menu to each property with links to features unique to each. For the store, this includes Genres, Tracks, Releases, Charts, Stems and Sounds.
While these changes don’t come long after the previous changes Beatport made to their site, these will hopefully re-emphasize and highlight the importance of the Beatport Store and how much of an impact it has on revenue, while still remaining to be a pillar in the dance music community for engagement and music discovery.
If you have any questions about these changes, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
