Every year, iTunes / Apple, Beatport, and many other partners take a holiday and stop ingesting content after a period of time. This is not only as a way for employees of these partners to celebrate their holidays but for business operations to conclude.
The deadline for 2016 for new releases in 2016 is / was December 3, 2016 thus, any new release creation in the system will be halted and won’t be available until December 30th. This means that if you log onto our system and try and create a release, you won’t be able to until December 30th.
For your records, below were all of the content cut off dates as well. These were sent out in newsletters to existing clients as well as posted on the SymphonicMS.

Please understand that this is an industry rule and not a Symphonic rule. We cannot control the procedures of iTunes and many other platforms and thus have to abide by their rule. This is the same across all distribution companies.
Symphonic will be closed from December 26 – January 2, 2016 with us returning Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. We will try our best to respond to emergency related ticket requests but please understand that with the industry in a relative shut down period, we can’t do much other than any internal systems and technical related problems that we can control.
