Just like many other popular social platforms, you can (and should) get verified on TikTok. Doing so lets your followers know you actually are who you say you are and that they can trust your profile. If you haven’t done it already, here’s how to get your profile verified on TikTok.

What exactly does a verified badge represent?
All that little verification mark really means is that TikTok has confirmed that the account in question actually belongs to the user it represents. It’s located next to the username in the search results and on the profile as a small blue check mark.
Note: If a profile does not have the badge below their username but displays it somewhere else on their profile (such as in their bio), it’s not a verified account. Verified badges can only be applied by TikTok and will appear in the same place every time.
So, how does anyone get verified?
TikTok actually has a team of people whose job it is to be on the lookout for creators, brands, and influencers that need to be verified.
- The amount of followers you have does not guarantee verification on TikTok.
- There is no application process, so you can’t submit any sort of request to be verified.
- Copying other popular accounts will not help your chances.
- DO NOT attempt to buy TikTok verification via a third-party site. (Please, don’t. Your account will get banned.)
