Additional Functionality for Symphonic’s SplitPay Feature
SplitPay keeps all of your royalties, revenue splits, and payments in one centralized system for easy record keeping.
Before this feature was released, Symphonic clients would have to manually payout anyone they owed royalties. This meant that clients had to request payment from Symphonic, receive the payment, calculate each payee’s share and then manually send out royalties to each payee. Clients also had to keep track of payment and tax information for each payee as well.
SplitPay functionality eliminates all these extra steps.
Clients don’t ever have to touch the money they owe to payees, nor do they have to hold payment and tax details themselves. All payee details are entered into the SymphonicMS one time (earnings percentage, payee names and tax information) and royalties flow directly to payees going forward.
Improved Invitation Flow
Invite your payee — once they accept the invitation, they’re in!
Plus, once the invite is accepted, only payees new to the SymphonicMS will need to create new accounts. Otherwise, payees can pick which of their existing accounts with us should receive the royalties.
